Sanjeev Jain

Chief Operating Officer, Wipro

Sanjeev Jain is the Chief Operating Officer at Wipro Limited and a member of the Wipro Executive Leadership. In this role, he leads the firm’s global business and delivery operations, which includes building talent at scale, driving delivery excellence and business resilience, as well as the CIO, cybersecurity, business transformation functions and the global capability center (GCC) practice.

Since joining Wipro in 2023, Sanjeev has been instrumental in building an AI-powered, client-centric delivery organization that is responsible for driving ongoing innovation and delivery excellence for clients. As COO, he is focused on driving profitable growth through the integration of an end-to-end talent supply chain with skilling, delivery innovation, simplified processes, and strong operational rigor. In this capacity, Sanjeev also leads Wipro’s upskilling and reskilling strategies with the goal of fostering a culture of continuous learning and building futuristic career paths for associates.

Sanjeev has 30 years of experience in leading large, diverse teams, scaling up GCCs and deploying design thinking for operational excellence and business transformation. Prior to joining Wipro, Sanjeev held a variety of leadership roles at Kyndryl, IBM, Cognizant and GE.

Sanjeev serves on the CII Southern Regional Council, NASSCOM IT/ITeS Sector Skills Governing Council and Karnakata IT Vision Group. Deeply committed to making a difference in the community, he also serves on the Boards of Literacy India, Gurgaon, and the United Way of Bangalore, focusing on education, environment, and women empowerment.

Sanjeev is a distinguished alumnus of IIM-Mumbai and a certified Master Black Belt from GE.

Suresh Anubolu
