On December 6, 2024 at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru hosted the second edition of Indeed FutureWorks, with a sharp focus on elevating how we hire, work, and live. This edition brought together HR leaders, technologists, thought leaders, and change-makers to dive into actionable ideas that make hiring more human, efficient, and inclusive.

The agenda included inspiring keynotes, product demos, interactive breakout sessions, and insightful interviews — all centered on how better hiring drives improved work experiences and, ultimately, better lives. Notable sessions included “Indeed Behind the Scenes: Using AI to Power Employer-Job Seeker Connections”, led by Madhu Kurup, which highlighted how AI and neural networks can improve match accuracy and reduce hiring timelines. Cricket legend VVS Laxman spoke about nurturing talent from his sporting journey, offering parallels to talent development in organizations. In a special segment, Dia Mirza shared her inspiring path from acting to advocacy, exploring how purpose, sustainability, and social impact intersect with workplace values.

FutureWorks 2024 reinforced the legacy of its predecessor by not just asking “how can work be better?” but by mapping out concrete paths for transformation — in hiring practices, organizational culture, and human well-being.
